being a farm boy for at least a good part of my life i like tractors. somehow i started looking at German tractors so here are a few. first is a 1949 Vierzon being tiddled with by its owner. i think this is probably a single cylinder hot bulb engined tractor. next is a Hanomag Perfect 300D with a 24hp four cylinder diesel engine. made 1962-64. after this we have a 1950-55 Fahr D22 with a Guldner 2DA 2 cylinder 22hp diesel. after this is a Lanz Bulldog which were made by Heinrich Lanz AG Mannheim. it is a single cylinder hot bulb engine. the Bulldog was made from 1921-60 in engine sizes from 6.3litre and 12hp to 10.9litre and 54hp. that's pretty big for a single cylinder engine. hot bulb engines were popular as they would burn just about any kind of low grade oil. sort of a semi-diesel. looks like this one can be used on the farm or to drive to town. and last is a M.A.N. 4wheel drive tractor. i got no info with this one but it looks pretty late 30's to somewhere in the 40's or early 50's to me.
