All Electric Tron Light Cycle

Wednesday, September 21, 2011 | 0 comments

Parker Brothers Choppers have made the operable Tron Light cycles way before the movie hit the theater. The bike had Suzuki TLR1000 motor in it. They have updated the cycle with a 96-volt electric motor charged up by lithium batteries, and a top speed of 100 mph. Also claim to possess 100 miles of range with 15-35 minutes of charging time. They are trying to make the bike street legal, and the pricing and availability have not been announced. Gas-powered ones had 35,000USD price tag on it.
Parker Brothers also built Green machine trike before.

Boba-Met

Sunday, September 4, 2011 | 0 comments

I don't know if it have enough visibility for my liking, but it is cool.

I liked Boba -Fett when I was a kid. He was a bounty hunter and looked really cool. But He did not do much and died rather stupid, kinda red-neck way in the StarWars movie(VI).

George Lucas focused bit more on the character in new installment of Star Wars movies(I, II, III,) due to the popularity gained from the second one(SW V). Boba's dad, clone and stuff...But I don't remember. I saw those new ones only once in the theater and leaving unsatisfied.

Sons of Anarchy Fake Tat

Wednesday, August 31, 2011 | 0 comments

The popular biker gang TV show,

"Sons of Anarchy" is coming back on Sept. 6th. And FX is pumping the show like it still needs it. At the same time, Fx shop is selling all those show related merchandises. I did not know what to say when I spotted this temporary tattoo of the fictional MC logo.

Wear your Sons of Anarchy colors without the pain or initiation. Perfect for that SAMCRO fanatic or anyone wanting to intimidate other motorists, the Sons of Anarchy Temporary Reaper Tattoo applies easily with water. Have your friends thinking you joined the Sons of Anarchy!

Two temporary tattoos included. 16 bucks a pop at the FX shop

Ah....No thanks. What? "anyone wanting to intimidate other motorists"? I would laugh my ass off and pee in my pants if some douche bag got this thing on the back and riding a bike naked.

Trekking Storm Trooper

Tuesday, July 19, 2011 | 0 comments

Australian Jacob French is walking across Australia while wearing Star Wars stormtrooper armor. He’s traversing the 2,400 or so miles between Perth and Sydney to raise money for the Starlight Children’s Foundation, a charity focused on improving the lives of sick children. French is making quite a few friends along the way, including the local authorities.

I thought would be cooler if you wear the C-3po suit and push the cart looks like R2-D2. But C-3po's suit would be hard to walk. I noticed French is wearing regular sneaker. Good luck to him.

Real Jet Powered Batmobile

Monday, July 18, 2011 | 0 comments

"This is the only Batmobile created that makes fiction reality. It is powered by a military spec Boeing turbo-shaft engine driving the rear wheels through a semi automatic gearbox. It features a custom tube frame/monocoque chassis with fully independent suspension, disc brakes, and a sequential shifter. It runs on kerosene, diesel, or Jet fuel and has a power to weight ratio comparable to a Dodge Viper. The car is registered and insured for the road in the United States. Built in 2011 by Casey Putsch of Putsch Racing . com."

Doesn't seem to go faster or handle good, but looks awesome.

RC Flying Superhero

Wednesday, July 6, 2011 | 0 comments

An obvious geek from Portland, Oregon, Greg Tanous designed and built this human shaped R/C airplane that resemble how Iron man flies. It is pretty neat but its background music they put is as annoying as those we hear on street motorcycle racer /bike stunt video's; I could not watch the whole thing with the sound on... Greg sells plans and full kits for several of his designs.

Custom Met

As many of you guys know, we are kind of geeks; so we love the combinations of geeky stuff and gear head stuff. I stumbled upon, a YouTuber Tigerpause444's creation the other day. He has created six modified motorcycle helmets, that deeply influenced by geeky movie and video games. They don't only protect your cranium, but also alter your voice and looking cool lighting up and shit.
They all looking pretty good and cool but he reminds you that bolting screws into a helmet violates Department of Transportation rules, jeopardize integrity of the structure of the helmet and also can result in getting a ticket if caught on a motorcycle with them. Hell, here in Kansas, it doesn't matter since we don't have to wear anything on the head as long as you are over 18. He also warns that these helmets are not going to protect your noggin from the dangers on the road. But so many people ride bikes with outfit concerning how they look around here than safety, so his disclaimer is really moot in this Mid-West.

The Umbrella

Rifle umbrellas from Gadget Brando.
They also have military sabre umbrellas and samurai sword umbrellas. Prices are depending on the length; from 19 to 28 US bucks. Comes with the cover bag.

I am sure that you get questioned by cops if you carry this in the bag. Better not do that if you have warrants.

Star Wars Theme Live

Performed by the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra.

When I was in school, I enjoyed shit out of watching/listening full orchestra. I miss it.
I personally think John William's best tune is the march from "1941"

VW Camper Van Tent pre-order on firebox.
"Officially licensed, this stunning four-man (or lady, natch) tent is a luxe, full-size replica of the iconic 1965 VW Camper Van
synonymous with 60s counterculture."
Price: £300

I think it should have clear windows with screens.

Green Machine

Thursday, March 31, 2011 | 0 comments

Parker Brothers Choppers, the same folks who built the street legal Tron lightcycles decided to built Huffy Green Machine. Yep, they’ve turned the big wheel bike into a functional trike.

“We had a Green Machine lying around the shop and we figured it would be a cool idea,” said Parker Brothers’ Jeff Halverson, who did 50 mph on this beast. “It rides crazy and is fast as hell. If it wasn’t for the rear tires we could have had it DOT approved.”

The trike's got 80-cubic inch Harley Davidson Evo engine, which means no pedals at this moment. Parker Brothers hopes to get Guinness approval for having the world’s largest wheel on a motorcycle trike. How do you turn? Obviously, cornering is not priority at all in their creations.

Tron Lame Papercraft

Sunday, January 9, 2011 | 0 comments

We still have not seen Tron:Legacy. It was sold out when we got there. Critics bitch and moan about the movie, but what do you think? it is supposed to look how awesome the effect was anyway; it ain't gonna be Oscar winning candidate.
I spotted this Tron:Legacy official papercraft. It ain't like superb Nobutaka Mukouyama's work, but it is acceptable, I guess. You can probably make it better by cutting more bending places to make it more rounder, though. Anyway, If you like bikes and papercraft, you will love Yamaha bike papercraft Mukouyama created. You can build his and laugh at the Tron papercraft.

Oh you can try download the papercraft here but it keeps informin' me that "this file is damaged and could not be repaired" Means you don't need it. However you can download Kevin Flynn's cycle here
