i thought there would be more steam clocks around than there are. apparently this is the only one which has an actual steam driven movement. the others just lift the weights that power the clock with steam. this clock was built by Peter Weare in Berwick, Australia. it is a half size clock to test the practicality of steam clock operation. if all is well he will perhaps build a full size model in Melbourne, Australia. the top picture is the engine itself which is a steam engine with electrically operated valves. the next picture is of the clock itself and the last is the clock and it's builder Mr. Peter Weare.
