Well, after Erik Buell was treated like crap and thrown out by Harley Davidson, He established Erik Buell Racing ( EBR) The logo he used to use and name can't not be used since Harley owns the copyright. Hahaha. Anyhow he unveiled the new bike of his recently. It is called 1190 RS. Liquid cooled V twin with 1190 CC displacement and claims 97 ft-lbs @ 9400 rpm of torque and 175 hp @ 9750 rpm. Front and rear are armed with Öhlins shocks and weighs 389 lbs (176 kg) without fuel. They say it will be 100 of them made so you might guess that it will not be cheap. Yes whipping 40,000US bucks, 4000 more if you want carbon fiber body. Obviously it is nothing but a racer replica. I believe Ducati's Troy Bayliss replica cost about the same and Aprilia's Max Biaggi replica is 64,000US bucks( everything is the same spec with Max's bike, That is right not street legal at all. ) so 40,000bucks might not be too bad in comparison...
I wish they enter WSBK with this bike. From the spec, it is obvious that they are aiming for performance of Ducati WSBK bikes. I love WSBK and that would make it even more interesting to watch.
