ryan, mitch and sancho the Avery is the tractor we saw on the way home yesterday on someone's farm. i could not think of the name yesterday. it has the engine beneath the boiler unlike most other traction engines that have the engines on top of the boiler. in between the two Averys i have appended a picture of a Case with engine over boiler to compare the two types. and last a picture of an Avery drawing at least a10 bottom plow. these old critters were not very fast but they sure were powerful. and indeed it was a great day yesterday.
