i have had several Chryslers but never an Imperial. a friend of mine had a 1951 Imperial in high school while i had a 1953 Chrysler Newport. the first picture is a 1933 Imperial and the second is a 1934 Airflow Imperial. lots of folks think these Airflows are ugly but i always liked them. last is the 1951 Imperial with Chrysler's famous hemi-head V/8 this was the first year for the hemi they were quite fast for the time and indeed will still keep up with any traffic and if my 53 was any indication they will go 80 or 90mph as long as you want with no problem.
