Step Aside

I like looking at women and all, but they should not be in front of bikes to cover them. I get often upset about that. If I want to see just naked women, I can go visit those countless numbers of nudy sites on the net all day.

Сахалин circa 1935

Saturday, May 28, 2011 | 0 comments

In front of a hotel.

Japan once owned South half of the island, Sakhalin. There were many Japanese lived there.

Interesting bikes. Left 2 are probably Triumph Model SD (550cc), the headlight was optional( acetylene lamp) The other one in the back is called Ner-a-Car, originally England bike, but ones in Japan were usually produced in the US, made between 1921 to 1927. The one in front of a car, is a Harley. Model B 350cc.

There were no big 4 in Japan at the time.

Triumph Wrist Watch

Saturday, February 19, 2011 | 0 comments

We have talked about very expensive Norton wrist watch once. Surprisingly, there is Triumph wrist watch as well. ( I wonder if they make Hodaka wrist watch...) I spotted these being advertised; Swiss made gut and comes with the case. Its face emulate the dash of the bike. I lost info on the price-sorry- was more reasonable than the Norton watch..., but it was already sold out.

I am not into watches at all. I have never developed the taste for it...
By the way, did you know many of recent youth don't know how to read a clock? They got used to digital number displayed on their smart phones. So they have no idea when you say "watch your 6"... I remember being taught how to read the clock in a school when I was a first grader. I guess they don't do that anymore...

Life with Triumph Parts

Clutch lever knife, Scale,
Hat rack, Record player and Cork screw.

They all seem to hard to use excect the record player and the hat rack. With the hat rack you can check if you got bugger hanging from your nose or not...
