What? Economy is that bad? Surprisingly, legendary race track of Germany, Nurburgring could face closure...Jackie Stewart once called the Nurburgring the Green Hell, and this historical circuit which opened in 1927, and has seen the best in motorsports (car and motorcycle) racing and you have probably enjoy driving there if you have owned Sony PlayStation 2 and 3's Gran Turismo games. Now, this historical circuit is being threatened by a €400 million debt. It has to be saved some how. Oh yeah, we got internet. Let's use the darn thing to save the Nurburgring. So...an online petition to save the "Ring" has opened, and the official Facebook page “Save the Ring” has reached 38,000 fans. To join the initiative and sign the petition, go to the Save the Ring petition page, which also has some good information as to just how things degenerated as they have. Please do it now if you love racing.
