gravity knives

here are some gravity knives for this Sunday. gravity knives, of course just fall open, basically when the lock is released and close the same way. even though not switchblades i imagine they are illegal in most places. heaven forbid someone should be able to operate a knife one handed. even in an emergency situation. first picture is an ad from the early 20th century and also explains how the knife works. wish you could get this kind of thing nowadays for only a $1.00. second is an Italian made knife both open and closed. next is one from Czechoslovakia{now Czech Republic}. fourth and fifth are pics of a German Luftwaffe knife designed for use by Fallschirmjagers to cut their parachute lines in an emergency. i have a couple of gravity knives but not like these, mine are more modern and can be opened by a mere shake of the wrist. damn near as fast as a switchblade.
