Shanghai Kittens Need Your Help

As you all know, I am a sucker for cats needing help. I am even a bigger sucker for a young girl trying to save kittens.

There is an American student currently studying in China. Her name is Devon and she is desperately trying to rescue some kittens out of Shanghai. Yet, being student means always tight on money. She’s been supporting four kittens right now with her tight budget, taking them to vet and all. You would think everything in China is cheap, but apparently vet is expensive regardless of region. She is also trying to get at least two of them fly out of the country with her, back to the US. But, flying kittens can be as expensive as an used car. Needless to say, it has become overwhelming for her.

So, I am asking all of you to donate some money to help her and the kittens out if you can.

And current break down on flight cost for kittens:

The price of our origin service at Door-to-Port for two cats to be carried as excess baggage from Shanghai to US is RMB3,360.00 total. [$521 usd]

This rate includes:

1. 500.00 for Vaccination and Microchip Implantation [$77.53 usd]

2. 500.00 for Vaccination service [$77.53 usd]

3. 460.00 for export health certificate by the official [$71.32 usd]

4. 500.00 for health check service [$77.53 usd]

5. 1400.00 for our Checking-in assistance service on the departure date [$217.07 usd]

Please take note that this price excludes:

A. Extra baggage fee to be charged by the airlines for pet’s airfreight from Shanghai to US

B. the destination service in US

C. Suitable flight crate or soft carry bag

The last picture is the kittens she is trying to save. And I sure hope this post would generate some donation. And her flight back / deadline is August 7th. Not much time left. I am putting donation for the kittens in the side bar till the deadline.
