Not really a big fan of the State of Texas but I spotted this nice design for motorcycle safety created by Texas Dept. of Transportation.
Texas is a warm state so riding season often never ends. For the reason, motorcycles are cheaper than other states, means more riders on the road, which also means more death of riders.
According to the fact sheet they provide at the link, 434 motorcyclists were killed in Texas in 2009, and an additional 5,889 motorcyclists were seriously injured. Oh also, generally speaking, the drivers in Texas are not nice at all, worse than Kansas.
