Here's Buddy Holly and the Crickets on their new motorcycles. Buddy on the right has an Ariel and Joe B. and JI have Triumphs. May 13,1958 they went to a Harley dealer in Dallas to look around. The Harley salesman didn't believe anyone dressed like they were had enough $$ to buy a Harley and so told them to not touch the motorcycles and maybe they should just go away. The boys then went to Miller's Triumph dealership and paid cash for the 3 Brit bikes. They then rode them to the Harley dealer for a good laugh. That's Mr. and Mrs. Miller and their mechanic in the background. Apparently Waylon Jenning's heirs still have Buddy's Ariel.
