A frustrated Lithuanian mayor drove an armored vehicle over a Mercedes-Benz S-Class ( about 200K bucks worth) illegally parked in a cycle lane.

It is probably set up but nice way to set an example. The mayor, Arturas Zuokas must be a cool dude.

I have done my share of grocery shopping on my bike. It is not really fun since you got very limited load capacity. He must be some kinda a guy. Got wife half of his age....

These motorcycle half tracks were produced by NSU in the second world war and could be carried in Ju-52 aircraft and were used for such things as pulling small artillery pieces in the field, runway tugs for air c raft in order to conserve aviation fuel. Only two significant sub-variations of the Kettenkrad were constructed, and production of the vehicle was stopped in 1944, at which time 8,345 had been constructed. After the war the production went on until 1949 for agricultural use.

I saw a for sale ad of a Kettenkrad a few years ago. I wonder how much they sell for it in the US...
