i knew Crosley made a few motorcycles for the military to try out in WW2 but how about a Crosley motorscooter? the scooter is made of two signs which were made of the two sides of a Crosley convertible. the owner of the signs put them together and filled them with motor scooter innards much of which he made himself. check out the Hemmings blog for a short shot of it being ridden and more info on the mechanics of the thing. first picture is of the type of Crosley the signs and scooter were made from. next is two pictures of the scooter and last a couple of pics of two of the motorcycles made for the military.
