today at the county building on 21st and ridge road was an electric train show. i went with a friend and my sister and niece. sancho and his dad were there as well. even john fries showed up. i had no idea he liked electric trains. he must have spotted me too as he escaped out the side door before i could catch up with him. he has become a bit odd in the last few years. i did manage to score a Lionel MKT switch engine and a MKT caboose as well. the first pic is of a Marx train set with box. much like the one that got me started on trains. next is another Marx set, a streamliner, i have one of these too. third we have a Lionel set and fourth is the Lionel girl's set in pastel colors. these were not very popular when they were brought out but now are worth quite a bit if you can find one. last is a Hafner wind up set. Hafner was a competitor of Marx in the cheap toy like trains with wind up power. i would like to have one though.
