Kawasaki Ki-61Hien {flying swallow}

Here is a picture of the Kawasaki fighter mentioned below by switchum. An excellent aircraft for the time. The factory which built engines for this model was destroyed in an allied bombing raid. The aircraft was redesigned to use a radial engine. This radial model turned out to be one of the outstanding designs of WW2. Unfortunatly for the Japanese by this time nothing could be done to turn the tide of the war in their favor.
