Well, Chevy has announced that they will be producing all new electric small car, called Spark EV the other day. And there are shit load of electric cycles/ scooters of all types with new technologies and alternative routes are pumped in the market. Here is the German-Schwalbe E, the electric scooter with electric motor with 50s retro body style.
The E-Schwalbe will be available in two versions: one with a top speed of 50 km / h (31 mph) and the other capable of reaching 80 km / h (50 mph)
Both versions are able to get within range of about 180 km(111.85 miles), using a new technology within the small batteries that power electric motors.
The production should start in January 2012 and it is assumed that the scooters will arrive in the European market during the spring. In February, the E-Schwalbe will be presented to DealerExpo 2012, the United States. Prices start at € 4699 for the latest "slow", and € 5799 for the "fast".
