the Pierce Silver Arrow is to this day one of the most wonderful expressions of classic car design ever. the first picture is of a model but it shows how the car would look with doors, hood, fender etc. open. next a picture of the hood ornament or mascot and third a shot of the driver's side of the car. fourth is an interior view and last a shot of the unusual rear window treatment. i actually saw one of these when i was a child right after WWII. i stood right in front of it and it seemed as though the grille and mascot towered quite a bit above my head. even at six i was impressed. it belonged to a college kid just down the street from where my family lived. only a very rich college kid could drive one of these today.
