i posted a picture of this Opel 500cc bike some time ago but in black and white. much better in color. nothing like red tires. bike would make 75mph with internal combustion and was supposed to go 130 under rocket power. Deutsch government apparently wouldn't let it run under rocket power. pretty impressive for 1928. i think the motorcycle is really a Neander with an Opel nameplate on it. not long after i posted this yesterday i went out and bought the latest issue of "The Classic Motorcycle". within there was an article on Neander which says that Neander licensed the production of their frame to Opel.
