this is the French armored cruiser Dupuy de Lome. she is seen here on her acceptance trails in 1892. she could make 23kts. and could sustain 19.5kts. for a long period of time. quite fast for the day. Dupuy de Lome is considered to be the first armored cruiser built by any navy.
