Elena Myers

Friday, March 12, 2010

Elena Myers is a straight-A high school student and a seasoned motorcycle racer. She started riding and racing at the age of eight, quickly progressing from pocket bikes to mini-bikes to Supermoto bikes with the help of her parents, Anita and Matt. At age 11, Elena raced a 125cc GP bike for the first time and won the race.
According to her team, in 2006 at age 12, she became the youngest road racer ever to receive sponsorship from Kawasaki.
Her website, which seems to be lacking frequent updates- I guess if you are a high school kid who races professionally, you ain't got much time to update your website- shows her progress of racing career.
For 2010, the tenth-grader is racing her Roadracingworld.com and Kids: Don't Smoke!-sponsored Kawasaki ZX-6R in AFM, WERA West and select WERA National events.

She is inspiring many little girls to race motorcycles and beat douches on tracks. In my opinion, she is much cooler than Danica Patrick.
