I remember when it came out. It was real big in Japan. The riding style "hanging off " was somehow called hang-on in Japan, thus the name. The arcade version had pretty good size replica of crotch rocket to sit on and you had to control the bike in monitor by moving the fiberglass bike side to side to turn and use the throttle, brake on the handle bar. The GP500 champion Kenny Roberts tried the game in Japan and heard he sucked at it.
