C.G. Bonehill-Martini .22

this is a rifle just like the one i have. it is an English Enfield Martini rebarreled in .22 by C.G. Bonehill for the English Society of Miniature Rifle Clubs. the action on mine was made in 1884 by Enfield. after being a military rifle it was converted by Bonehill to .22. it is a beautiful little rifle, rather longer than a modern .22 but all the better for it. it is a single shot rifle, with a type of lever action that opens the action and cocks it all at the same time. after firing the lever opens the action again and extracts the shell. a very accurate rifle, probably my favorite gun.
