Mt. Fuji

Friday, November 5, 2010

Mt. Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan and considered as the most beautiful one. It has been a favorite subject to draw/paint among Japanese artist, including Katsushika Hokusai

During WW2, Imperial Japanese government thought about shorten the mountain by dynamites. Because of its height, it always pop the top out of clouds so Allied were using it as a land mark to bomb Tokyo.

War makes people stupid.
