Italian motorcycle company Vyrus is entering its radically unorthodox Vyrus 986 M2 Factory in to Moto2 competition. With similar weight, engine, tires and electronics as its opponents, the Vyrus bike is an experiment in the racetrack effectiveness of hub-center steering. It will be the first time in decades that a machine will enter top-level racing without a set of traditional telescopic forks. If successful, it could start a sus
pension revolution in the sports bike world. Three versions of the Vyrus 986 M2 will be produced. The Factory – the full-on race version with titanium, carbon fiber, magnesium, as well as moto GP-spec brakes and suspension. It is available for $73,560 US.
