Never could quite articulate why i do not attend car/bike shows anymore.
The best i could come up with is " To thine self be true. "
It's complicated,but I honestly stopped caring many,MANY moons ago.I lost the urge.It all became unimportant.I'm still obsessed with car's and bike's but not the cult's involved.

BEWARE-Mimmickery run's rampant at the DIY Manly Machine Rendevous's.
The common mindset at shows is " I wanna be as KOOL(or kooler) as _______ ".
Like a bunch'a Rooster's strut'n for the other Rooster's.
This observation by Jeff Decker give's a hint to our (K)ulture's woe's and it's bandwagon mentality.
Those that are $ savy to this lil' pearl, they have been cash'n in on all those out-0-wack ego's and their hard earned nickel's.

when i see feller's who are TUFF,they are usually just a TOOL.
when i see folks who are KOOL, it usually means their KORNY.
when i see machine's that are RADICAL, it usually means their RIDICULOUS.
(whenever i see the word EXTREME used to describe an event it is fer sure run by a DOUCHE.)
....and if your gonna SHOW OFF,do us all a favor and show off Yourself, not sumthin' ya picked up from someone else.
