just picked up one of these today. a model 94 Winchester 30-30. designed by prolific firearms designer John Moses Browning for Winchester in 1894 this may be Winchester's best known rifle. when production stopped in 2006 over 7,000,000 of these great rifles had been produced. they are again in special production in limited numbers, not in the United States however. over the span of their production they have been made in just about any cartridge configuration that could be used in a lever action tubular magazine rifle. the 30-30 is without a doubt the one most thought of when model 94 is mentioned.
