Next time you screw up your wheels on your bicycle, you might consider getting this baby. "Just take the wheel off, put a GreenWheel equipped wheel on in its place, plug it in and it should work just fine," said Ryan Chin, one of the GreenWheel designers. "The whole thing has been designed so all the parts except the throttle are enclosed in the wheel." Unfortunately, you can not get this thing by simply walk into a store...
"While an exact cost hasn't been nailed down yet, Chin expects a privately purchased GreenWheel to cost several hundred dollars." This thing was reported more than a year ago so I hope it is widely available by now, but can't seem to find any place that carry it so far...It is lighter and more environmentally friendly than Copenhagen wheel

So far, the bike with this wheel has an estimated range of 25 miles. Its top speed is about 30mph- that is a lot faster than you can pedal your 18 speed mountain bike, buddy. You can also put those GreenWheel on both wheels if you desire.
The bike can be charged by pedaling or by plugging it into the electric grid."
